Welcome to the Bulyk Lab

We study the interactions between sequence-specific transcription factors and their DNA binding sites, in particular as they pertain to transcriptional regulatory networks in the yeast S. cerevisiae, the nematode C. elegans, the fruit fly D. melanogaster, mouse and human. For these studies, we develop and apply genomic and proteomic technologies, as well as computational methods.

We are located on the 4th floor of the New Research Building on the North Quad campus of Harvard Medical School. We are part of the Division of Genetics in the Department of Medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Martha Bulyk is also an Associate Member of The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.

We are also part of the following programs:

  • Harvard Biophysics Ph.D. Program
  • Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences & Technology (HST)
  • Harvard Biological & Biomedical Sciences (BBS) Ph.D. Program
  • Harvard University Systems Biology PhD Program
  • MIT Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP)
